The Inaugural Forestry Industrialisation Conference (FIC) presented by South African Forestry Company (SOC) Limited (SAFCOL) in collaboration with Government through the Department of Public Enterprises, the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), including the Department of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries (DAFF) and the Department of Rural Development and Land Reform as partners attracted Government Ministers, policy makers, industry experts, end product users, forest managers, academic, rural communities, players from public and private sectors, business leaders and delegates from the forestry sector.
