The Fanie Botha Hiking Trail is widely regarded as one of the best trails in South Africa. It is located in the Sabie area along the Drakensberg escarpment and provides hikers with beautiful views over a variety of landscapes. The trail leads hikers through pine plantations, indigenous forests and crystal clear waterfalls. Main attractions are Mount Moodie and the Mac Mac Pools as well as Lone Creek which is a national monument.
