According the South African Forestry Companies Limited (SAFCOL) the country’s growth and development in forestry is lagging behind the other BRICS countries.

In a Forestry Industrialisation Conference (FIC) held earlier this month, SAFCOL said that South Africa also lacks a wood culture society that highlights the value of our forests, trees and the potential of vast range products that can be produced from it.
